OK

I got my Z on Sat and I am now sure it was one of the best decisions car wise I have ever made.

It seems the usual Z problems are showing themselves : Oil pressure sender ( sometimes it reads correctly and others it shows low, depends on wether it wants to work or not)and squeaky fan in the roof along with squeaky bonnet.

I put some sound proofing in the rear boot to remove a bit of the Rear drivetrain noise which has made a good difference.

As I gain more confidence in driving it I am starting to really open it up, only had the back end step out once so far( thankfully the way the car reacts gave me plenty of time to put it right) but I am sure that count will go up.

All in all the car is bloody fantastic ( touch wood ).

Thanks for all the help over the past few days .

Kev

Treat it like a new girlfriend be sensible until you know how far to push your luck but be warned all women turn on you once in a while :x:

Although hopefully your Z will be nice and reliable, its important to know a good place to get parts and a good Z mechanic to fault find and fix problems. If you need good used parts then I'm your man :). Make a note of my details below. If you need an excellent Z mechanic then I know one in Kent and one in Lincolnshire. Not near you I know, but let me know if you ever need their contact details.

Thanks and happy motoring

Hi Kev, great feeling behind the wheel I bet!Thing is you don't have to race this car all the time. Everytime you step into it it just feels right. You're bound to run into a few niggly problems but you're in good hands here!

Enjoy :)
