People, hope you can set things straight for me as I'm getting conflicting info from a couple of mechanics regarding a non-turbo 300zx that I'm looking at purchasing.
The machine in question is a jap import and has done 72,000 miles. I asked the normal question of 'when was the cam belt changed' and have been told that for a non-turbo zed it's a 'cam chain' however, I've also been told (by another mechanic) that it's a cam belt. :headvswal
The only sure way is I guess taking all the front off and having a look (which I don't think the present owner would be too happy about!), so any ideas - which is correct?
