think the turbo seals are on their way out now. Had enough.

Not sure whether to sell the car or break it - think I may get about 2K upwards by breaking it. Either that or take off the best bits and keep em for a new zed?

 

Thing is what do I buy?

I got about £5K tops.

Got my heart on another Zed - preferably a shortie TT Manual Tbar jobbie.

Just love having the tops off in the summer.

 

Other cars Im thinking of are. . .

 

Skyline - Prob only be a GTS though :( - Im presuming they are not as fast as ours and dont have Roof off :)

 

3000GT/GTO TT - I think same speed as ours (poss dare I say it faster??) 4WD - good but again no roof off :(

 

Supra TT - Ugly - dont care if theyre fast - the only one I like is the aerotop and they are too much for the Aerotop TT version.

 

RX7 - Think these are fastest of em all. Unsure about styling.

No point downgrading to a GTS/T Skyline if a GTR is not in the budget. I Like RX7's but they are tiny and that engine is a worry. Has to be another zed :cool:

 

 

1. GTO's are no bigger lumps than a Z and I would go as far as to say if Z's were made with the superior 4WD system they would probably weigh more than the GTO as they're not far off it anyway

They are quite a bit bigger and 300Ibs heavier. I think it was "Car and Driver" magazine that said getting out of the GTO and into the zed was like changing a boot for a running shoe.

4. Handling goes to the GTO in the dry but in the wet............well :D

More grip yes, but road test comparison lap times and the opinion of anyone who has good knowledge of both tell a whole different story.

 

Its always been a wannabe zed, supra and rx7 rival, sorry ;)
