jesus, my missus is driving me mad, she wants a new motor, she knows what she wants so she says :eek: . she doesn't want a zed (too big) :confused: but doen't want a run of the mill motor...................................she wouldn't mind a porsche( been here before ). so the quest is on for a half decent one, I like to consider myself more than capable of dealing with all things mechanical :D . missed a porker last year cause she ummed and arrghed, now last saturday found a 944 2.7 S2 very close to home for not alot of money :hyper: so took her to see it

 

everything worked electrically................most unusual

no tax ot test

hole in sill........real easy repair and paint

no other blemishes or scratches on the body

needed a headlight and a good service with belts

 

no problem I thought, she loved it and I thought " a weekends work " . gonna get serious brownie point for this .......more for my Z. so I was all set to buy it and she bottled out " Can I think about it" she said..ok no probsbut at this price don't think too long. She has spent all weekend talking herself out of it

So last night I sat down with her and talked it through etc...." if she didn't like it we could sell it on" etc and make a few quid ( more for the z ) :hyper:

in the end she agreed and I went tonight to buy it.......its sold

 

next time I'll go with my gut feeling and not bother with her, sorry for the rant guys but I need somewhere to vent my anger, indecision on this scale really really winds me up especially when its at home.

Got the same think with Mrs Ball at the mo. she want's a new Golf GTI. but is still thinking......her Golf is about to blow up...Head gasket i think. By the time she makes up her mind she will be walking to work.

Seriously tho' I know what you mean - although it's been me that has been slow in making the decision - especially when it comes to buying things from the For Sale forum.

 

The wife's attitude is - Go For It. So I do now :D and then get chastised for spending so much :eek: Can't win eh?????
