honestly bro you get what you pay for !!.....and in a car as powerful as a z32 an uprated clutch is well worth the investment, while its out change the flywheel as well ....ztech do a great job and will be getting the project 400 rwhp upgrade work on my zed ( when they reply to my email that is ....GREG , RYAN dig dig nudge nudge ) their prices are realistic and the work is gurenteed to be done by zed mad specialists

They're located very close to Gatwick.

Zed world in Staffordshire near Tamworth (chav land) do a clutch replacement fitting for £520 all in. And they use a genuine Nissan part. Some dont.

 

I am such a lucky bugger. I work 5 mins from zedworld. My clutch went 3 months ago and they got it in and did it all in 24 hours. It was the original factory fitted clutch too. Went after 39,5000 miles.

most of us use ryan for one reason alone, hes good at what he does.. period.

 

im there tomorrow having some stuff done.. wont go anywhere else, also its closer for me, but after speaking to most of the guys who have been there im happy.

Either ZenGarage or Ztech really, and yes, you may as well pay a bit extra and put an upgraded clutch in, lightened flywheel too if you feel like modding.

Deffo go for an aftermarket one mate, even if yer not planning big horsies!

Whilst it's always best to use a Zed specialist for pretty much anywork, IF those company names above are a little too far to travel to, fitting a clutch is not an awkward or hard job on a Zed and is realy much the same as many other rear wheel drive cars, so if you have a garage local that are used to doing clutches, yer sorted. Oh it's always a good idea to replace the rear seal when removing the gearbox, it's only around 12-15 quid.

Well im not gonna mega mod it. Dont the standard ones take upto 400bhp.

Im only looking at filter and exhaust.

Maybe remap/boost control later on.

People on here say go for an uprated clutch. I went for a standard one as the original lasted 39K miles and er i was skint and could not afford much above what the warranty on my ZX covered. But thunderball chunk has got through 3 clutches in 2 years i think. He has also welded stock nissan brake pads onto his discs :rofl:

is that £495+ vat for fitting a clutch mate, if thats the case, buy a clutch from either smithey, luke or jeff, then just get a normal garage to fit it mate. i know sumone down here who could do it for you bud.

Yes mate for that price you get the same clutch as i listed earlier, though it's uprated will far outlast a stock one at your level, but still leave room for more in the future from you or the next owner. So all yer gotta decide is a trip out to ? or have it done locally, simple eh :D

Seems to be some confusion here £495 + Vat is for an RPS sport clutch which as Smithy has explained is uprated the price is for supply and fit including the new clutch release bearing
