recon engine exchange

I know some of you know i have a bit of a dillema with my engine at the mo..

anyway rather than get the big end bearing and crank replaced ive been looking into getting a recon engine in exchange instead. After all i dont know what other damage my Zeds motors got wrong with it.it had a rebuild under 30,000 miles back but has gone wrong again.Either the bearings were not replaced first time or somebody has treated it badly since the rebuild.

Ive came across this company who have offered this service

http://www.enginesdirect.com/index.shtml

for a recon 300ZX TT engine for 1795.00 inc vat fitted.Obviously all the ancillaries will come from my engine but has anybody dealt with this company and offer any advice

TBH I wouldn't trust a generic engine supply/fit company with fitting and setting up a 300ZX engine. Get in touch with Z-Tech and you won't go wrong

yes in the proceeds of lookin around for prices. At the end of the day it looks like my track day car (eunos) will have to be sold to fund the project, which im a bit relunctant to do.if theres a way around doing that im willing to explore it.At the moment im not too concerned about getting it done asap cause i normally bike to work anyway.
