this is why i love these forums, so many diverse views and opinions.. and they're ALL VALUED..

thank you...

i like the mesh a lot, but thats probably the chav in me.. lol.. i shall make a small number plate tomorrow and "relocate" it as i'm not convinced on its present location either... the curve of the bumper and the straight lines of the plate clash..

I like the stick on (?) affair, doesn't spoil the silhouette or air flow, where did you get it from?

orite lads just a quick question, mite sound stupid but i want to colour code the bottom part of my tt bumper which is grey at the moment to black.

did you have to sand the bumper down or got it sprayed over. it seems to have a bumpey feel to it.

thanks!

s.ali... not sure mate as the bodyshop did it, altho i reckon it'll need preparing a bit...

knock knock... to be honest mate i sorta cheat.. i simply print out my numberplates onto paper and laminate them.. lol.. if you get stopped plead ignorance, worst case they'll make u change it... its only noticable close up or when they're straight in front of you, and its not often plod will turn around to chase you, as its difficult to distinguish the non-reflective plate between the headlights at night...

i'll stick up a pic when the plates relocated..

as promised, maybe a bit small but looks better i think, opinions?

Alan........

You can buy the reflective backing....I have a stick-on plate made from this ;)

I got the material from sign makers/printers and they cut the digits for me...used to work their so got it made for nowt :D

Ita larger than Id ideally want but pretty near on legal spec and never been stopped for it.

It doesnt look quite such a contrast with all the black digits on... its just that I psp'd em off for posting

I would never dream of fitting a plate in the way of the air-flow....Why would anyone want to decrease the air-flow? :smash:

dont worry gaz, i'm looking after it mate, and will come see ya very soon..

agreed, i might even add 'removal of z emblem' to my list of things to do as i think it clutters the front up a bit.

Like this?.....

Not Photoshoped either, that is how it looked last year, not anymore though, it's got it's RED badge on now :D

Lookin even better now Tony.

As for headlight panels, i have to agree with FunkySi. Not a huge fan off the grilles. I very nearly went for the same one on Tonys but changed my mind. Tried a smooth look too, but i prefer having the zed badge. I think its pretty cool .
