I have just this afternoon signed up for this service.I am with NTL 2mb at the mo.Their 8mb £9.75 package is limited to 1 gig usage a month.I dont know if that is enough,what daily usage would that be roughly.Has any one else used their sevice,any advice would be great...Ta

I use just over 1gig a month, but depends how much gaming I play online.

I'm on Bulldog's 8MB service too and it is great. I can't give much advice on usage as I'm on the unlimited service. :hyper:

 

There is the potential to download 5GB in well under 2 hours though, so 1GB a month is not much at all and it depends on how well you can handle temptation. ;)

ive been trying to find some software that'll monitor my monthly internet usage but the only decent ones i can find reset every time i switch my pc off :headvswal

1gb isnt all that much - but it depends how much you use the net, and what you use it for. just posting on here will be a few megs, but downloading movie clips and music will bump it up into the 100's of megs quite easily.

I knocked Bulldog in the head as NTL done me a good deal as they wanted to keep me LOL,well chuffed.£19.99 any time 24/7 including telephone line rental +upgrade to 10MB.I was paying them £24.95 = 2MB, line rental on top.

Your paying £19.99 for 10mb 24/7? Blueyonder want 35 notes just for the 10mb service! I think I will have to give them a bell lol.

thanks for that mate. NetMeter looks pretty good - although whether it'll hold its data between startups i will wait and see :)
