why is my car making a whistle sound from the left side when cold in boost (not boosting it heavy when cold either)

 

and why does the left bov hardly make any noise, while the right is LOUD

 

and she is over fuelling, got fuel smoke and stinks of petrol

1, If it only whistles when cold could be a boost hose contracting-needs nipping up?

2,left BOV could be wrongly adjusted(if adjustable!)-or tied to the above!

3,smell of fuel again could be hoses-the wifes (car!) started smelling in the cold weather-overfuelling/smoke is this only when cold?-as it's supposed to!

Could all be related mate!-loosing boost somewhere=Rich!

I would deffo check all pipes and l/h ic etc-even the bov itself-anywhere air can get out!
