nice idea but not something I would undertake lightly, the tolerance on these things is very tight and the back lash has to be spot your talking in thous in terms of measurements last thisng you want is a diff letting go at 100mph + which is why the engineering shop build ours

I do agree with you there!

I just put the info on the Club just so people on here have an idea what's involved in fitting and setting up a Differential/Ring/pinion.

Its not an easy job at all but if you have the tool's and experiance you can do it yourself without taking it to an Engineering Company.

There are very few Mechanic's that will carry out a ring and pinion gearset change due to the Difficulty and labour time involved, but there are still some that are willing to Undertake the Job!

Have you yourself ever tried to set one up yourself just as a challange? or for a customer?
