can anyone tell me the rear speaker size? are they 5 x 8 or even smaller as they look v. small

Featured Replies

They may be small but I am led to believe they are Bose and have an amplifier each!

And are 15 years old and usually broken lol.

well mine are certainly not bose. they must have been changed for jbl speakers. does anyone else know of these amplifiers?

yeah, they are just part of the standard speakers. They should be removed when fitting aftermarket speakers.

jbl or infinity probably do the best 6x4s, so you've done ok there

Is there any data on removing the Bose amps anywhere ????

Cheers buddy but i,m still in the dark so they are under the old speakers ????

I know there is a 4 into 3 setup behind the dash and the mention of something on the passenger side in the dash switch up or something i was hoping i could just bypass amps but it looks like complete new wires to the rear   I have fitted a lot of stereo stuff in all my other cars its just the thought of tearin it all apart to wire it !!!

so are my amps still there or are they attached to the original speakers?
