My thoughts and deepest sympathy go to his family and friends...RIP

Truly devastating news, I really feel for his family and the other families mentioned on here. Go easy out there lads.

The name of the young man killed on Christmas Eve has been reported in the press:

Mr Hadlow was not a member of this Club (or the Z Club). I've spoken to Karl (karl300zx) this evening and on behalf of the Club I will contact the police officer named in the report to see if we can find out what (if anything) the relatives would like us to do as a Club to show our sympathy and support at this very sad time.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Not being funny but I think the last thing the family would want right now is a 300ZX forum contacting them trying to offer there best. Just leave this one alone guys and girls.

I disagree with you there mate, I think it shows that we care, and I also think it is a very upsetting time for them, but even if they choose to ignore us, its better to have tried to show them we care than not. IMHO

I'm sure a card of condolences from the club would soothe their time of sorrows if anything.

Well he was not a member on here so I think it smacks of advertising.Sorry to speak my mind but you would not do it for the other people that died over christmas would you. So why because this guy did it in a zed?

Yes RIP but just leave it at that, don't hassle the family!!!!

i'm sorry Blazt but anyone thinking of sneaking in free advertising by sending a card from the club needs their balls removing and a good :slap: thats not why its been suggested. Member or non-member, we are a community of 300ZX fans and if another owner loses their life while driving their Z then we feel a small part of us has been taken away - no more than a supra driver or a vauxhall driver, but i hope you can see the link.

That thought doesnt even warrent an answer mate. Advertising???

WTF mentioned avertising? Who do you think we are on here mate? We are truely shocked and yes he was a fellow 300zx owner and we respect any 300zx owner member or not mate. If my son had (god forbid) an accident fatal or not and a load of strangers took the time to wish us well and let us know that he was being thought of then that would, I am sure make me feel that it wasnt such a great waste of life? Our intentions are that of pure and unquestionable sadness. Advertising my ar5e. :smash:

The old vini is back to stay :D

The poor guy got killed driving his Z,,,,,, how does his family feel about his choice of car?? who knows,,, It may have been his pride n joy,,, or he may have been a car trader for all we know,,,, its a sore point,,, his friends and family are going through HELL right now.

We may agree with his choice of car,,,,,but do his friends and family???

Shit has happened for me over the last few years regarding RTAs with families and friends, send our condolence YES,,,,but as for this thread

I don`t think his family will be bothered what car he was in, and probably not even entered their minds at the mo. I think what you are doing is spot on and would think most car clubs/forums would do exactly the same, member or not.

The GTROC did exactly the same a few months ago for a member and his family were moved by the thoughts.

Bob

Blatz, I think your comment about advertising was absolutley heartless, and you obviousley dont understand what being a member of this forum is all about.

All the member's are deepley sadened by this event, and im sure we have all had a good long think about those, "lucky escapes" we have all had.

I find your comment tackless, and disturbing, may I suggest you have a good long think about it yourself.

Im sure that Mr Hadlow's family would not think of any contact from this forum, a cheap ploy at self promotion, we have members from all around the world, and even our donation's to charity have been low key.

I notice that you are a rather new member, I suggest getting to know some of the members, and the spirit of this forum.
