Bought a MAXDRIVE PS2 flashdrive usb device and it isnt reconised on the ps2..

WTF?

 

Does anyone know how its setup or any instructions for it?

there were none included as it says its PS2 ready to go :confused:

is it specifically for the PS2 Steve? my old USB stick didnt work with my PS2 (and i desperately wanted to save and print piccies from Gran Turismo 4 :D ) so i bought a Sony microvault 256mb (think it was £22 at the time)

nope - you have to load the software eveytime time you load the game mate.

The one on your second link is very much like mine but is slightly different packaging and youre linked one doesnt mention the ps2 ready2to where as my one says it on the front of the packaging?????????

I never got a disc with mine and its not the slimeline ps2 ....

Do I need a disk then to use this fookin thing?

:confused: software??? with GT4 you just slam the memory stick in and save away (albeit it only works with some types of stick!) -the stick i have is purely for transferring JPGs to my PC tho - if youre looking to transfer from USB to memory card thats different i suppose...

This usb flash drive i have is supposed to save/transfer game data/saves/pictures the lot either to your ps2/pc or from your ps2/pc.

Some of these sticks come with a disc but mine didnt as it said its ps2 ready...

I know the usb ports on the ps2 work as i use the headset for socom and soforth :D great fun

and i know the usb flashdrive works cause its reconised on the pc when i plug it in...

so why doesnt the ps2 reconise the usb flash drive?
