Well guys i new this day would come, i had my call up papers today in the post, have to report on the 27th feb at catterick to my medical and fitness test.

 

I could just fail it all then let them fuk me off but sumthing in my head says it will be a laugh to go back in for 10 months. at least i no i come out straight away. told my boss when i got to work tonight he is well pissed off, just as he finds the perfect CP team i leave, it doesnt help, me been the main CPO.

 

just sumthing i need to know that im not to clear about, can the company i work for get rid of me or terminate my contract.

have you still got all the squaddie bars down near the white shops, also just had bad news today, my work will only keep my job open for 3 months, there must be sumthing i can do, there saying its because at the mo i work for the goverment and now the goverment are calling me up, to be honest i dont have a fuking clue wat to do, what if i said no to the army what would happen to me, can they still send you to nick or fine you.

Yes they can Nick you alright ... The only way you could possibly get out of it is if you fail on medical grounds. I am still in the reserve myself ...

totally agree mate, but i think there has to be a line.

 

about the medical side i know of 5 men, well 1 women and 4 men all failed medical and fitness test big time and im talking about 16-20 mins on 1.5 mile run, fat nakers and dope smoker, well one was anyway, still let him in (passed i mean), there fuking getting desperate for men and women...........................

Good luck Bro! My cousin's just been called up too. Iraq for 6 months, poor lad is not happy! His boss wont keep his position open at all.

 

Jacks300zx, got some mates 'hats' who are serving with 2 Para in Iraq at the mo. They are are Army Air Corps lads, know any of them??
