Looks like the old Ebay shuffle again.

If he hasn't stated that the car is advertised for sale elsewhere, how can he cancel the bids ? also i wonder if someone bid say 10 grand, would the car sosmehow become "unsold" hmm

smithy

Its sold because he has not got the price he wants for it, but as it does not say advertised else where he is braking the contract by saying its sold else where. He will re advertise again soon saying "back for sale due to Non paying bidder or some *****x. If I where the seller I would keep it untill the spring when he might be able to get somewhere near what he wants. All he loses is his listing fees adn Ebay will automatically ask for a percentage of the sale as item has less than an hour to go, and they will not know its been sold else where.

needs reporting cos it's tw@ts like him that make ebay more hassle for the rest of us...

True it is pretty annoying, he should have stuck the reserve price in the auction, the only reason he did'nt is because a £6250 reserve would cost quite a few quid. Who is going to report him then??

I pushed the final bid up to £2500, just to make sure some fees were incured. He changed the ad last night and put a "Buy it now" at £6995 and that was there at 8am this morning, then changed the ad again later. The ad says it was sold Friday? Yeah right!!

How come "lawsonsmith" supposedly won the auction for £2550, yet there are cancelled bids for more money?
