December 16, 200519 yr No mate that dyno must be way out, LOL, coz most people on here only believe that dyno's give misguided figures where tuning is concerned. Even though most super cars don't even use forced induction to produce over 500 BHP, even though Honda have been producing high output engines that have never been beaten yet without using turbo chargers or super chargers and hold the record for the most BHP per litre for a production car EVER! FACT! So I would say that is a miracle, like the second coming ever happening or the fact that Christ ever walked on water without Greddy turbos! PMSL :D

PMSL :D Many 'supercars' have less than 500bhp, and those that do have over 500bhp have huge displacements or use forced induction...and ofcourse they are deisgned purely for performance with no consideration for lifespan & economy(let alone reliablity!), compared to Mass produced performance engines. and the good ole honda vtecs....loads of top end power in a small powerpand and bugger all power in the most used rev range. Compare something like a honda 1.8i Vtec engine to a Turbocharged engine like the VAG 1.8T engines. Both give similar peak power, but the 1.8T has like double the power at every point below 6000rpm and is'nt anywhere near as highly stressed.

My point is what I said! ;) An F1 engine is around a litre if I'm not mistaken, that can develop 1000BHP without forced induction, so why do we insist that just coz you have a certain setup that you can't produce that BHP?
clicky..
