£375 + VAT for the aerial unit...

I was pissing myself......

Yeh, i agree with you lot, my old man owns a nissan garage and i work there when im not in uni. The prices are very high, mainly because they stopped making the Zeds years ago obviously. Its not the dealers fault though its Nissan themselves, we always get people in moaning about prices for old cars but the mark ups on parts from main dealers are not at high as you might think.

Still agree though they are a rip off!

And people with 15 year old cars will have to pay them. Just coz you car cost you £4k doesnt mean parts will be as cheap. It was a 35k car when new, just remember that.

fuel pump controller packed up on mine went to nissan and it was a massive £500 bought 2 of the breakers in traders section so i have a spare and thay cost me about £50 the pair

Mike @ MJP in traders section for new OEM Nissan parts !

I do a lot of Website contract work for a Large Independent car parts supplier...and the markup on parts from Dealers are high in comparison !

Also, A lot of parts are not manufactured by Car manufacturers themselves, but contract manufactured through other suppliers so going direct to Independent traders can miss out quite a few middlemen.

guys. I have always asked nissan for prices just in case. and Mike always gets them a LOT cheaper, not a little bit a LOT and he gets them from......

Nissan. Sory but the main dealers take the piss, and when they hear import they can never find the serial numbers which I locate in 2 minutes flat.

Yep don't you feel £135 for 12 bolts and four metal plates to hold the back bumper or is taking the mickey !!!! ..
