its on a big platform that raises it in the air and moves it about, and apperently its the original from the movie (although im not too sure)

but its still insured for about three million according to the empire's directors

i didnt think so, still worth a few quid though (apperently)

The Chitty car on tour is the original from the London production and holds the Guinness World Record for being the most expensive prop in the history of British Theatre.

Worth a hell of a lot of quids probably!

i saw a porsche 962cr, the most expensive production car ever. only 6 were made though :)

very very nice! also saw a jaguar xj220, theyre pretty expensive :D

-v-

I remember seeing a lambo jeep in a garage for 100K...but I was about 12....

saw a carrera gt at brands last summer - didnt even know they were out at that time!

dont know if its the most expensive ive ever seen but its the most recent car that stood out!

if im not mistaken one of the original cars from Chitty chitty bang bang is in the Motor Museum at Caister Castle. Its the car they used as the before renovation in the movie.

ive seen a Ferrari 250GTO go thru an auction for £2.2million considering they were about £15k in the early 60's. thats a fairly nice profit! :D

Albeit that one sold in the USA for $15'000'000 in the early 90's :o

Where do i collect my prize :D

Seen a few Lambos, Ferrari Spiders, Bentleys, Aston Martins DB7s and the Ferrari Enzo. Their is a Fookin rich Chinese chap who lives not far from me as well as MarshBarton Ind Est has got the largest amount of car sales companies in the UK, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche and millions of others. When driving through the estate it can be very distracting looking at all the nice cars.

In my little country village is a dealership called Stratton Motor Company.

They Sell Marcos, Morgan, Aston's, lotus aswell as horse and kart ha.

went in the back once and damnn.... Saw a Lambo Jeep, XJ220, really old Ferrari looked like old racing one. Limited edition Aston racing version or something phat kit.

Saw one of those McLaren Mercs being driven through Spain a few months ago (between Madrid and Burgos). I think they're £300,000 odd.

Also saw (Nick Mason from Pink Floyd) driving a XJ220.

I saw the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car too, on a trailer once - great film - the old bamboo, the old bamboo etc etc . Why don't they make nice films with songs in like that anymore instead of shyte with explosions and other toss glamorising violence etc etc.
