Yep simply turn the "trumpet" on the BOV and it'll change the note produced :bow:

If I was you and you recircs are OK and you aren't running higher boost then I would personally keep them as they are. Recircs are good and a lot better than BOV'S. I had to change mine as the recircs were honking like fook at higher boost levels and it was pissing me off. Turbo XS bovs are good. The ones I have can be made to act as recircs as well as venting to atmosphere. They are well made and just as effective as a well know BRAND.

 

TBH it is up to you .. just my 2p's worth.

My car is a standard UK TT which is an auto but as we speak getting transformed to a manual.

If you just want the noise (lots of peeps do) then a BOV will do the job. I would get a bov that can vent to atmosphere (shhhhhh sound) but also be able to act as a recirc as well if you want it to. I personally think the recircs are better for the car.

I am not knocking the apexi's in any way, they are good BOV's but IMO they are well overpriced generally. Turbo XS bov's are very good and they don't cost the earth. I know this for a fact as I have them fitted and they work well. They can be loud as fook or more quiet .. up to you mate .. your dosh ..
