anything wrong?

got a det sensor fault too

Two things mate (not faults that is ...)

(1) Could I please ask that you do not refer to the screenshot you've provided as coming from a "ConZult" - as it clearly comes from a Datascan product. DTA-Motorsport (the official and exclusive distributor of the DTA ConZult) does not wish to be associated with the Datascan product. I know it was an honest mistake and I'm just pointing it out - nothing more ...

(2) It is impossible to judge from a screenshot whether there are any problems with your car. We'd need to see a real-time clip of what the sensors are doing to determine if everything is running within their appropriate parameters. Presumably you've gotten an ECU diagnostic fault code read-out, that would show up the most prolific faults.

sorry danny

Don't worry about it mate ... ;)

The code 34 fault is more than likely the result of a duff det sensor or a fault in the wiring loom between the det sensor and the ECU. Apart from taking the engine out to replace the det sensor and the loom you could try to relocate the sensor to a more accessable location on the engine. I know some people have done that with varying degrees of success. Relocating may still not resolve it if the wiring loom is knackered. Something to be expected after 12 - 15 years of extreme temp changes!

Dan

If you're lucky that det sensor fault will be at the loom connector, the little wires there are prone to cracking and shorting.

AAC value is a little low.

Det sensor will be wiring harness problem and won't have any effect at idle.

Needs to be fixed so that correct ecu maps are used etc.

Steve

TPS could do with a very slight increase,0.44-0.5v is ideal, doesnt sound alot but if you have an auto any slight change can effect gear changes and rpm/idle

For you info danny I would not wish our product to be associated with yours either. Ours is much cheaper. And you dont need to take the engine out to change a knock sensor at all, its done in situ in 3-4 hours.

or add a resister in 10 mins . :D

And live life on the DET edge, rather you than me when running higher boost and a good map!!

I can hear melted pistons smashing around another buggered VG30 block.

This is a saftey device, like an airbag or brakes, skimp on it and it will come back and bite you in the end.

Just my 2p worth.

Hi Blatz,

It's nothing personal mate - just a comment. I'm sure your product works well but our two products cater towards different ends of the market. We've invested hundereds upon hunderds of hours in developing the ConZult software and hardware and delivering a professional product. Our initial benchmark was the Nissan Consult which we've easily surpassed in both ease of use and functionality. The ConZult has more functionality than the Blatz product - and there is certainly room for the both of us!

As for changing the DET sensor in-situ, if you can do it in 3-4 hours then you must have double jointed fingers and the patience of a saint! LOL! I certainly wouldn't want to do it - and I've tried ...

Overall Blatz, I hope you understand I wasn't "dissing" the Blatz product. I was merely looking out that the ConZult name wasn't being misused (intentionally or by mistake). I'm sure you would do the same.

Regards,

Dan

Sorry Blatz, your crazy to do it that way!! :o

You're right! I only thought of that a couple of days ago too! Hope I haven't pissed Blatz off too much with what I've said in response ...

Dan

i'm sure you haven't i'm chose the blazt system as it was the first thing i found to give me what i wanted, i'm sure your product is excellent but never having used it i couldn't comment, plus now that i've finally fitted the laptop and screen in the zed i have what to friends and passers by consider to be a sweeeeet secondary readout. there is room in the market for both of your products as from what i now gather you both provide a different sort of analysis. plus blazt i think you product is perfect FOR ME and i'm sure many others

Dont worry, I am cool. Dan your right, very different products and aimed at different markets. I also have lots of other software which I use for different purposes, like calumsult is the best for bin downloads, works every time.

And to do the sensor in situ is tricky but possible, remove the gearbox - hope its manual and take the egr valve off the back of the engine and if you have small enough hands you can get to the sensor this way. The loom you will have to get the pins out of the terminal block to route it properly. I have done this on 3 or 4 cars now and its the best way I have found to do it, and quickest.
