What have I done to piss off the gods above. the gods that look after us zed drivers???

last night i drove off as i would normally do and then (BANG CLUNK RUB A DUB DUB!!!! my wheel was off its rim.) WTF!!!!

New alloys .... and this happens... now i am driving around on a space saver.... my front bumper looks like ww2 was there... (previous accident with a dog) and I just cant believe my luck...my stereo stuff is in the back seat as the alloy had to take its place in my boot... my car is a wreck.. i look like a poor student (sorry if there are any) trying to be posh with my car but dont have enough money to look after it........

BUGGER this sucks!!!! I am really down. my new bumper should be here this week... and I am having to fork out even more money on a new tire... should make it 2 really as its best to replace both back tires than just one... bugger bugger bugger!!!!

What a pisser. The alloys on my Zed make it very hard to get an air hose onto the tyre valve. I can only use petrol station air hoses. 2 weeks after i got my Zed the front right tyre nearly came of the rim as it hardly had any air pressure in it. I was not used to these huge 245 tyres that with a thumb press can seem fairly pressurised but really are not.

You mean you drive on a flat tyre and can't tell the difference ?

sorry to hear that John :( i think your problem is you dont pray to the Z god enough. this involves being on your hands and knees, looking under your car and servicing it and getting oil everywhere.

oil everywhere.. darn. i am doing something wrong.

i am going to star praying now.

lol

Mate, check the inner edge of the other tyre carefully!-as they tend to wear

and blow out.If it is worn, sort the alignment before fitting the new tyres or you are wasting money!

HTH! ;)

Mantav8,

I noticed it was worn... there was wire sticking out everywhere.

so i am going ot put it on the allignment bed at college and see how far out it is.

Yes when i first got my Zed i had really deflated tyres on the front and could not tell. That sounds really dumb but now i inflate them at petrol stations so they are rock hard.

guess the moral of the story is 'don't drive when you're down to the wire'!! :headvswal :headvswal
