Just checking around the web for some more air tools and chanced across a site that is supposed to be trade sales but openly will deal with non trade, no great problem....until you check out their site content.

Screen shot below is just a small part and I have masked some of it out, as they sell the tools required to break into cars...ok nothing new there, what was surprising is the pdf file of over 900 cars and detailed lock design and how to use the tools.

What is shocking though is they cover the whole zx model range including the z32 it details several ways to gain entry some of which were a big surprise to me, they add at the bottom of the text that the use of their tools are not to be used criminally!

These kits have been around for many years, I used to sell them :o quite legally I might add and always to people who would not mis-use them (I hope)

exactly the motor trade is fine, etc etc,but where do you draw the line,as said just hope they are used for the reasons they were designed, nowt worse than your clifford alarm fookin up and locking you out :D

iv got a set here at work!

iv got to say tho, its nothing that a car thief couldnt make himself!! its no different to going out & being able to buy a gun - doesnt mean your gonna shoot someone with it!

I,m pretty sure Snap On sell a kit on their tool vans !!!! :headvswal

I really don't see the problem in selling this sort of stuff, lets face it most twoccers aint got the time to try and carefully break in to a car! A screwdriver or a brick would normally sort it, so who do you blame then B&Q?

As for real I am car thieves, they were probably the ones who made these tools in the first place!
