ok, how hard can it be for the powers that be tio sort out first time buyers, buying a property from people moving to spain i.e no chain either side????????

well quite hard obviously!!!!

first off our beloved mortgage packager lost our entire file for a whole week, whilst lying on a daily basis to the broker. (every day she phoned up, to be told - its on its way and should be with you tomorrow - my ****ing arse)

well it finally gets back today, after a huge amount of *****cking to the point where the md of the packager was involved, and the lender had agreed to exchange and complete on the same day if necessary, so as to be ready in time.

the vendors need to put their furniture in storage till they actually move, and so had thoughtfully booked a local removals firm to sort this out on monday.

their knobhead tosser of a solicitor, told them today that although we will exchange on monday, and will complete on wed/thurs he thought it best for them to cancel the removals firm.

****!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the vendors did this, thinking what a clever man our solicitor is, and then realised it was a stupid ****ing idea when the next available date was the 19th of ****ing december! dickheads.

i want to be out of this flat by xmas, so now have no choice but to move on 19th. ****ing idiots

ooops srry, can someone put this in rant club please???

leave it where it is

i know what you are on about, it took ages to complete my house sale, but its all worth it in the end

the advice i can give you is to keep on phoning the solicitor, keep at them so they dont put it on the back burner

when i purchased my first house i got a phone call from my solicitor on athe monday morningasking me why i hadnt been to sign all the paperwork contracts etc on the friday my reason being nobody informed me that i had to be there i supose he thought i was niave as he told me that he still had to charge me for the appointment lying fool

we are hoping to move on the 21st of december, having put the bid in on monday. I have told the solicitor/ estate agent that I will not be happy if they fook it up for me

A good solicitor is a diamond when it comes to selling/buying a property but they are hard to come by!

As said above, keep on at them as they are highly paid but need their @rses kicking on a regular basis if you want things to happen quickly. ;)
