Following on from the other thread, as I think this is an interesting subject (albeit fraught with problems) - women now have got blokes by the balls in many respects. But why wasn't it always like this ? What has changed recently ? Any takers ?

Where are the real bands ? It's all gansta-rappers, poofs and man-haters.

But at least we still have U2 and the stereophonics for eg. - but little else of note.

I think if blokes out numbered woman it would be a different story

It's probably got a lot to do with what's "acceptable" to society. When women had to behave properly, most didn't dare rock the boat for fear of peer hatred/isolation/stigmatising etc..

 

So it's all Germaine Greer's fault for changing the socially acceptable climate. Most men are then frightened to fight it, as their women won't put out. So it's sexual blackmail !

 

Marriage suits women, as their biologicl strategy (best genes, then kids) can best be followed, but a man's strategy (sew oats with as many fit women as possible), can only be followed if he "cheats", but he's not really cheating -he's just following his biological strategy.

 

If a woman follows her biological strategy, she simply finds a better man (if possible) and then leaves first guy (taking kids if applicable), and is given sympathy at having to "start again" !!

 

So marriage suits women, NOT men.

i think they are great to be honest yeah you get pissed about by them but look at how much stick they get as well...........you will never be able to work out what goes on in a womans mind but as long as you can have all that fun with them when you do get it then why worry

Sorry mate but my misses is a slacker !!!! She had it a bit rough when she was a kid (her dad was killed in a lorry crash and she was brought up by a total control freak of a step dad) I am partly to blame caus i wanted her to come out of her shell and get rid of some of the pent up anger, but now she just takes the p*ss and it ends up where i have to shout my head off just to get her motivated, then she does the old "Yeah you,re right i must knuckle down and do more" b*llocks Society dictates they should have equal rights, i agree and they should fix their own cars, let me have £50 out of their purse, i should be able to talk to lesbians about my "troubles" Throw a fookin tantrum once a month (you know what i mean) and justify wasteful shopping
