What the hell were the county council thinking last night?? It was forcast that it would be very cold, frosty and icey, so why the hell didn't they send out the gritters (at least around Melton Mowbray - to - Lincolnshire border area anyway)

As soon as I crossed over from Lincs to Leics frost and ice all over the road, NO GRIT at all!!!! :shock:

My back end was all over the place, and also the steering wheel was twitching all the time as well (Never had that before :confused: ) Down to 40mph most of the time, bloody disgusting :rant:

Had the same problem in suffolk this morning, Thought ide take my car into work to do a couple of jobs ! Could not go above 40 mph or the back end was fighting me ! no grit anyware. not that i like grit but it does help ! :D

My road is particually slippy, as Daz (Madhammster) and me (well ok, just Daz) have cleaned 2 cars LOL

 

It's OK thou, as i live in the far corner of a cul-de-sac so only unless some stupid person is delivering xmas cars early, i should be OK LMAO!!

 

 

But i know what your saying Dave, I was pulling out of a juncion in my ahem..Rover 600 and it wheelspan, I nearly had to call Norris Mcwerter to tell him it was a Record!! :D
