I reckon West Coast Customs are better too. But yeah, they good lol

Just incase ya didn't know, Jamie Shaw started Carisma, a car moddin company.

Their first demo car was the blue renault 5 turbo which i do believe to be the one

in Ali G's movie. Another car they've built, and my fav that they've done, is this TVR.

Not a bad company car IMO ;)

Nice one Jamie

this is his site, nice models on there too ;)

the first demo car was a silver renault five with blue interior, the first blue renalt five featured in a mag was his favourite and was the first renault 5 to feature 17" alloys, he even got pulled by the police when doin the shoot

so there lol

other cars include the tvr and his own car a white wide arch porshe 911 with huge alloys

He may well be good with cars but he obviously has one of those fairground hall-of-mirrors in his bathroom ! Asymetrical hair ?? WTF?? I thought that died with the Human League !! And what's with all the 'street talk' ? Those shows would be bearable if they could at least speak properly !! It's like watching a chimps tea party with all the hand waving !

I watch Tim Westwood and truly wonder if his act isn't just one HUGE p*ss-take !

Sorry.....rant over......

Tim Westwood could well be TV's little joke on the world! But yeah the shows are interesting to an extent, but if they cut all the street talk crap and explained what they were doing then it would be ace!

Carisma is Based about a mile from where i work in Colchester Essex !

Take a drive down there sometimes usually somthing lurking in the car park. :D

Agree...

There's no doubting Jamie Shaws talent. I saw his first Renault 5 close up, impeccable work.

But Chip Foose - he's on a whole different level

Chips on another level. but look at what he's working with. At least they could pick some decent cars to pimp. A bloody capri and a Moggy FFS

Hows about a Jag, A Rover Coupe or P5B, Hows about a decent Bmer, but OH no they pick the Euro Trash

Not a patch on Bee Geeszzzzz Bling.....IMHO.... :hyper:

chip foose - awesome! saw one episode of overhalin, where he resprayed a caddy. and there was abot 6 different layers, there was silk curtains in the middle nd allsorts - legend!

jamie shaw is the nearest we've got this side of the pond imho. have had a good gander around his 5 (both times round), tvr, and 911. amongst other charisma project cars, and all have been impeccable.

the man is a god.

stupid haircut though!!!

  • 1 month later...

what do i think of jamie shaw? i think if he ever quotes me 600 pound to fit and spray a spoiler in standard nissan red (without the cost of the spoiler) im gonna hang him by his nut sac!

nice cars i guess though!

wonder what the selection process is to get your car on the show wouldn't mind taking my zed there. also wonder who pays for the mods done surely wont be free.

not a patch on 'Overhaulin' mate IMHO

Maybe im just being a miserable ol git,,,, but how i see it is,, make em go super fast,, make em handle better,, sort the breaking,, lighten em up and do a track day.

All that pissing around tarting those pieces of crap up,,, for what??

To drive around Halfords carparks,, and try a doughnut on ice.

Back in the day,, we used to put BDA twin cam motors in Anglias,, sort the handling,, put a pea-shooter exhaust and a 1200cc badge on the rear,, then go a hunting :mac1:

Now its, paint your car in super glue and drive through Halfords stores whatever sticks to it,,, leave it :D
