Ive been using Lucas octane booster in my Z has anybody else used it ? what are the long term effects of using this stuff.

There is a massive boost in performance with it. :confused:

Will a standard Z take a few shots of that without long term damage.

I used octane booster the last time i filled up and it made my car run boggy at high revs.

I do not seem to have had any problems at all Yet !!! :hyper:

Could this be down to the ECU? As in... If you disconnected the battery to re-set the ECU, then put the Octaine Booster in with a full tank it would then 'Learn' with the 'Boosted' fuel carectoristics(sp?) and run better. Whereas if you don't re-set the ECU, then it'll run as normal fuel!

 

If you see what I mean?
