A quick note to all people who are doing this

job

 

When you re assemble you MUST clean the lenses and MAKE sure there are no finger prints on the inside face!! so wear cotton gloves

Mine are split and ready for sending.

Took about an hour for the pair.

Warmed them up overall in the oven(60 -80) then used hot air gun.stanley knife and screwdriver. Oh and a few matchsticks to prop one side open while I heated the other.

My front lights have a great big stonechip and i have to replace the glass anyway. Is it possible to get just the glass (Passenger Side)? If so anyone got this? If not i will need a new unit.

Can we just clear up TWO IMPORTANT POINTS then so we dont all get in a muddleand gennerally pi$$of the company who are doing it.

 

Number one. HOW much is the total cheque for??? To go in with the lights.

 

Number two. THe chrome rings on the inserts. WE NEED to take them off before sending???? YES? or NO?

for chroming. They are packed and ready to send to you as soon as your cheque is clear on my bank account, PM if you are interested! If you want

I will undertale the rebuild if you ar nervious of breakage for a small fee,

so you would end up with a set of chrome lamps ready to drop streight in to

your Zed with no off road time.

1) Total cheque will be for £96.29 to be on the safe side = £70.00 +VAT lights plus £11.95 +VAT carriage. (Their has been a lot of confusion with VMS emails not stating VAT)
