Well thats the plan. When my inserts arrive, ill send them off to be chromed. When they get back, ill fit them and sell on my original inserts.

The only difference in jap and uk lamps are the E markings on the glass

lenses, so no difference on the plastic buckets

This is a cosmetic mod only. It wont improve your light spread on the road ahead of you or increase the brightness of those poxy dipped beam bulbs.

It should be functional, as light will reflect off the chrome, which equals more light. :D :D

i think they look the mutts but being chrome it wil bounce the light of it and up in to the sky,does look nice even if you cant see the road :rofl: -hid kit is a must makes such a big differance

Might even make driving in mist/fog worse than normal?

maybe.... hope not.... SGTc?... whats driving with them like? or any1 that has them!

my current ones has the 3M chrome film in them and the HIDs. Night vision is in a different league to the normal lamps, so much so that in full beam situations, they aren't really necessary but I've still ordered H1 HIDs though :D :D

I started the VMC trail in febuary this year because Cos had stoped

doing the lamps due to no profit to work .

I had the new lamp fitted when PPS fitted the strosek convertion

The difference is about 30% to 40% but then again I had new lamps

and bulbs.

It it worth the effort.

Just had this email from VMC, after emailing them to say I have 10 definate members all willing to pay £70.00 plus VAT each, is it ok to go ahead?

 

 

Yes but they will need to include £ 11.95 +VAT each postage if they want them returned, otherwise they will need to arrange their own collection.
