Pity about the exhausts. :o

Check out the pics above. ;)

Did that and it ended up with http://aus300zx.neuralmotion.com.au/tech/headlight_removal/headlight_removal.htm which seems to be MIA. I'm sure JeffTT's guide is great but I wanted pictures before I start tearing things apart :(

Only five maybe six more people needed to get this BRILLIANT price. £70.00 plus VAT.

The people who are chroming the inserts. Are they doing the smoothing of the insert faces so as to get a proper chrome finish or do we have to smooth them ourselves?

If they arn't smoothed the chrome will be rough and look like bright silver polish.

When would you require the inserts? I may still be interested if we have to do our own.

Yes mate I am afraid so, but it will be worth it in the end. I will be buying a spare set of lights from a member on here as I need to use my car for work.

don't suppose you fancy doing a deal or me a favour? when you have yours back.. send ur old ones off and ill wire the money to you and get them sent back to me? (if that makes sense!)

Ill be using mine as my daily drive when she's back from the bodyshop!

hope that's not being cheeky

We will not need to smooth them as they use laquer and some other stuff, check out this link bud.http://www.vmclimited.co.uk/metalising.asp

I am cool with that, but I am just wondering about this part of VMC's reply email:Postage will be cheaper as the entire job lot could be returned via TNT for £11.95 + VAT

Does this mean they want all the lights in one go, so once they are done they can be shipped in one go?? I think I may have to ask another question. LOL ;)

Yup, this is defo looking like a tricky group buy.

Some spare inserts would be handy.

Just out of curiousity, how much does this normally cost??

I think VMC does them for £100 +vat

Ive seen people charge over £200 though
