can one of you clever bods help, when i push the button for the washer jets for front windscreen my rev counter rises and also occasionally when driving rev counter needle shoots up to 180kmh and straight back down. My zx is a 92 import with a dreaded convertor fitted

dodgy convertor will do that or speed sensor,check wires to convertor and speed sensor,replace faulty convertor if the cause
