Networking problem

Hi,

 

I've connected 2 pc's via a patch cable. They can both see each other on "My network places" but the slave PC cannot access my home pc's files even though I've shared them. It comes up with "\\vijayhome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network rescource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Access is denied."

 

The slave pc can access the internet through my home PC if that helps.

    Bung a file in the "shared folder" on the home pc, you should be able to access it then.
