sweeet jeeezas.!

bad timing for me tho.

yup, dam thing is that i want it, then i could have my zed for week days and that as a weekend runabout.. it does look fantastic though but this close to xmas he's risking it a bit with a no reserve auction isn't he?

he reserves the right to pull the car out of auction even within last 12 hours - basically getting reserve for free if he doesnt like the highest bid

and his username is 'nicenhonest' :p

just had a thought... 300zx.co.uk should buy it! their are like what 6-800 users, at £15 to £20 a user we could put in a group bid of a minimum of what 12-14 grand, then do a charity raffle through the site for a community chosen charity then we ALL meet up for the biggest group meet and one of us would be going home in it!!!!! that way everyone wins, we get a big meet, all our cash ends up in some charity or other so not really wasting the £20 and some lucky b*stard gets that hot set of wheels!!! what do ya reckon????

Mate that sounds sensible we done something like at MR2OC it was mental

yeah it just popped into my head, though it is a bit of a tight time frame but their are enough members here, its just a matter of finding a way to do it, hell to say i owned a part of that car then i'd happily dish out what 50-100 quid, though i know i'd never get to drive it it'd still be the balls

whys that mate?

dont like it really

With no offence meant for the owner it looks like it has been involved in a ramraid in Ripspeed/Halfords and come out with most of their products stuck on...

The 99 spec bumper doesn't look right with what they've done to it and I don't like those caravan lights and the spoiler is rediculous and they forgot to spray the bonnet... the list goes on... ;)

I suppose it might be to the ricers tastes but I prefer the more subtle approach, or if you insist on going for a balls out look, you need to really go for it like some of the members have on here, then it can look not just good but astonishing. That seems to be halfway inbetween the two and for me it doesn't look good at all :x:

it's only a suggestion, if no one agree's thats why its a community! at the end of the day if it didn't happen well its no great loss, we pretty much all own a zed so having two is a bit over the top. and i agree that not everyone can afford or would want to participate but thats the nature of things isn't it?

true kay but if you got it for say £40 by winning it in a raffle are you saying you'd turn it down and take the shortcake cookies? or would the fact that you A: got the car and B: donated £20 to charity not make a difference?

TBH, only thing i like on it is the wheels, I hate the colour, I REALLY hate the spoiler. the bodystyling is Ok, but all round, i dislike it.

Have you thought about the logistics of the raffle???? Where would the money be sent to??? Who would do the work???? Who would draw the raffle???

I could go on!

nope, but then again it only popped into my head whilst i was reading the 'christmas raffle' thread like an hour ago! i just thought i'd offer it up as a suggestion as i'm trying to work out what kind of thing i will be donating for that raffle, everything i have for my zed's going on my zed but i've a large ish collection of things like signed aliens pulse rifles and predator posters, pc equiptment etc etc and though i normally shift these things on ebay i thought well i'm a new member of 300zx.co.uk try and fit in. the zed on ebay is stunning in the flesh, the carbon bonet suits it and though kay has his point which i'd actually never noticed before about ramraiding ripspeed it still my kinda style, i'm tipping the clock at 29 and i suppose i'm still a 16yr old at heart with my big spoiler big wheels screens etc etc(wife gave me the choice kids or car) but i look at the pics of your guys rides and they all look fantastic to me because i love the 300zx, and i doubt theirs much you could do to your ride to make me dislike it. i'm not a pureist i love the diversity that the rides on this site has, we are all really lucky to own one and if anyone reads this and doesn't agree, just drive down a round in a town that you don't normally go through and look at the faces of the passers by! we rock and i thought by posting this idea that we could maybe do something good for charity, if its a no go then i'll think of something else then...

Not really my thing either but I'd take a £40 gamble on it!

Ah mate you're intentions are fantastic! I was just commenting on the car not the idea itself :)

I already donate to charity regularly every month, but for anyone that doesn't, and wants to, and you can draw up a secure and workable way of doing it, then go for it mate!

:nono: :hurl:

Not my cup of Tea but thats only IMHO......;) someone will have it :x:

I quite like it but apart from the spoiler, but that's easy to remove. The mileage is pretty high though (haven't read ad to see if it's had an engine rebuild). Also not so keen on autos.
