Will top end loss be noticeably. is it a straight swap, and has to be from auto to auto.

Not driving in Britain it wont!!!

Need to swap the rear end complete really(I think) that way you can get rid of the Hicas too.

Anyway someone else will be along soon to tell you more. And tell me off !!!

You'll find me at NG16 4GN. Just had another member, Paul Thompson round today, lives 1/2 mile away. And later today Im off to Hucnall to visit (mad) Manta V8. We're all over this area really Oh there's Boldy too and BG Vinz and Luke at the Z Centre and probably a couple more. Common as muck really 300ZXs round here!!!

using the na diff alone will break unless you upgrade the ring-gear to stronger TT components but the idea is to use the NA ratios theres a company in the uk that will setup the ringear to the required ratios at a cost of around a 1k you will loose some top end due to the ratio, but a lot of fun trying to keep the rev needle from bouncing of the limiter before you get the chance to change gear

Thanks for info greg, pete ive met every one apart from boldy, paul, and yourself and theres other peeps in notts with 300s who arent on here. ive had mine for about 4yrs and just joined club is there a chance of a meet in notts sometime.cheerz.

Dam right bud , those gear changes and getting faster and faster . Ztech rebuild a t/t diff with the n/a ratio gearing for me , apparently stonger than the n/A parts by far.

Really wonna get this conversion done just a couple of concerns 1) how much top end will i lose 2) exact cost and will i need to change anything else apart from obvious. and will it have immediate response however fast/slow. mines tt auto cheerz.

If you get the t/t diff rebuilt with the Leader n/a ratio gerars then....top end reduced to about 160mph , costs around £1200ish in total fitted, No need to change anything unlike if u used the n/a diff , yes immediate responce 0-60 faster , feels more responsive.

Thanks for info mate, which one did you go for and are you happy with the result, is your auto/manual.
