I have been driving around in the TT for a while now and the only thing that bugs me about it is the turbo lag. OK, my car could not be performing right, as I'm only used to an NA I wouldn't know for sure yet, but everything seems to be fine. The NA just DID NOT (obviously) have that initial lag for standstill, but pulled right from when you put it into first gear and pressed go. This is one reason I would probably consider a naturally aspirated car in the future. I like the 350 - comparable, if not exactly the same power, but an NA engine. Now they are beginning to get to reasonable prices (350 on autotrader) they look quite good to me. Still not the same as a 300 though.
This is a totally uninformed opinion, but I found that there was noticably less lag with sequential turbos in my Soarer, even if it did not have the outright power of a 300. It seemed that way to me anyway from what I remember.
I don't like the lag at all - once it has started to boost - it's a different matter. I'd like to test my 0-60 to see what it can do from a standstill - I need to get a hold of a g-tech pro.
