Ive heard hydraulics will give you a ride thats almost unbearable, because the fluid doesn't compress its like having solid suspension. I've also heard airbags are less reliable and have less travel but give you a ride thats more liveable, although either way your handling won't be a patch on your normal setup.

Ray at Rayvern Hydraulics has developed a system that offers all the advantages that in-car adjustable ride height offers with none of the drawbacks regarding poor handling commonly associated with hydraulics and other air systems. It works independantly on each wheel and can be adjusted to give either a smooth but controlled and responsive ride to something that's more race orientated that is firmer and more aggressive. The cost is £1800 if you install it yourself. And not too long from now I'll be able to give everyone a more in depth analysis of it's performance in a Z32...;)
