because its coming up to my insurance renewal date im looking for a more powerfull car (got my 2nd years no claims bonus) i love the look and the rarety of the nissan 300zx but im unsure of what to look for when purchasing 1. could someone please post me up some hints and tips for what i should look for. thanks

oh!! sorry lads, start again shall we. my name is dean (how did u guess?) i live in the west midlands, not far from wolverhampton, im 20 in december which is when i will hopefully have a 300zx tt targa manual, ive got a great site for car insurance if anyone wants to have a look http://www.insuresupermarket.com its great i couldnt believe the quote i got 1800 third party fire and theft, alot cheaper than a supra tt or a GTO, the more i look at the 300zx the more inpatient i become. all in all i will have around 4000 quid, will this be enough for a decent 1 do you think. thanks again

 

Just tried that insurance website. Every one of the quotes was considerably more expensive than what I pay with Admiral right now.

But DO get one! Awesome cars!

I have to be fair, since i past my test ive had quick cars including an Evo, a Scooby and had a supra for a while but when i first drove a Z i was hooked - had to have one - nothing compares to it when they're done right!!!

I'm 20 now but if you're as dedicated to getting one as i was then you dont think about all the other costs that come with it you just put up with them!!

After all, u own a Z! :D :D :D

Spoken like a true soldier. As much as I love my Z I dont think I could choke down that type of cost.

Try Elephant mate and put someone like your Mum on the ins too so they can see that someone else relies on the car, it brought mine down 100-150 i think....may not be the case now, but worth a shot ;)

well!! ive set my heart on a 300zx 2+2 tt targa manual, am i asking too much? i cant find 1 anywhere :headvswal . does anyone know an import specialist in the midlands who could get me 1?
