Y'all need to buy the full version now so we can race the proper cars n tracks, ive got it and theres some wicked action & cars

I'm seriously considering gettting the full version... only thing is I can never set up a server? Neither can my mate, and I'm always having trouble getting in to some of the servers you guys put up. That's the only thing holding me back is the connection issues really...

Have you tried turning off your firewall? And if you're behind a router it MIGHT cause the problem (usually it shouldn't)...

Yeah I have a router... and so does he... I don't even know what the fuc* they do anyway? some games it will cause a problem, others it won't... weird :confused: I don't know enough about computers to sort it out so I always give up and wait for someone else to host lol

Out of interest how many of you use a wheel and pedals?

 

I have a wheel and pedals but for some reason never bothered to use them with this one, kinda got used to the keys now. I'm gonna have to give it a go...

 

There's a logitech one that has 2 turns on it like a real car rather than 90 degrees each way on most of 'em, that would be ideal for this game :bow:

I used the keybord in the beginning, but now I use the mouse for steering/accelerating/braking..

Q....How can I speed my laptop up?

 

I find when the action gets a bit hectic it slows down...I dont mean for the online stuff..just normal playing.

I turned off all my spyware programmes(4 of them :D ) and that helped alot :hyper:

Is there any settings I can change for the usage of RAM or stuff?

What else can I turn off to speed it up?

I only need a little bit more ooomph :(

I have over 700mb RAM and a P4 and a pretty good 3D GX so I just need a little extra zip??

You could turn doen all graphich settings in the options, that should help a lot...
