Well IMO it is...

Since I moved in and set this sh1te up it keeps dropping out on me all the time.

Frustrating to say the least when you're in the middle of downloading some quality Jenna Jameson Porn! LOL :D

No but seriuously, they take the f\/ckin' p1ss!

Been on the dog and bone to them for most of tonight, "yeah it looks like there is a problem between you and the exchange" then I have to move the 220 router from upstairs to downstairs main phone box connection as apparently BT don't support any other connection in a property unless it's the main line. FFS are you having a luagh? You supplied the sodding boxes!

But at the end of the day I work in the technical world of IT and as someone once said to me ;) you get what you pay for! Yeah right...and I have sub-contracted for BT a few times and seen what they are like on the inside, a rotten apple with a Granny Smith exteriror.

ive had no problems with BT at all, good speeds and good service. its all down to which exchange youre on at the end of the day, the modems and routers they supply shouldn't cause any major problems...

their modems and routers are notoriously bad - BT engineer came out to an office I was doing some work in and said 80% of his call out are for failed equipment, but they can't change models as they bought thousands!!

Well while we are on the subject

NTL No complaints about service but expensive

Maybe I should change

Yep you're probably right mate, me Bro had to have a replacement modem when he first got BB from BT? ABC...X to the Zee etc. etc. LMFAO :D

ive been using BT for 3 years i moved to suffolk and they were the only one who had Broadband then in my area, No problems with Modem or dropping out etc I had NTL before that was good, but when it went wrong Fooking hell it was lthe most frustrating experiance of my life (apart from getting rid of my first wife !) :smw:

This Girl I know works on the BT broadband help desk I told her about this thread she said "Please stop shouting at the people that pick up the calls it's not there fault you've been on hold for 30mins and the service is crap" .... :)
