Hi Guys

I have been chatting with the NE/N organisers and we have sorted a meet between us all. Its quite a distance but isnt complicated to get them and hopefully this could become the NORTHERN 300ZX.CO.UK MEET! Who knows ;)

The plan is to meet approx 1pm so we could organise a cruise up there. Its approx 150 miles and about 2.5 hrs travelling time. See attached PDF for more details.

So come on, who wants to go?? (if you cant say something positive then please dont say anything!!!)

HAHA! When did you move the the NW? Stick to your own boundaries :nelson: :x: :mac1:

Fife 87 miles

Newcastle 59 miles

Leyland 144 miles

not very central :(

Justed post this on the Z club could get some more names bigger the better

It may well be only 60 miles from Newcastle to Jedburgh but you also need to realise that the majority of our NE members live south of Newcastle. We have lads traveling up from Middlesborough, Catterick, Ripon & Harrogate. If you check the map that Pete has put up, you'll see that Harrogate is about 10miles further north that Preston. We have also agreed to have the next meet closer to the NW.

Another one to bear in mind is Scottywil may come from Fife, however, other Scottish members may live considerably north than that.

It's very difficult to get a venue that is equal distance for everyone, so hopefully the next meet will be nearer NW

Rant over

Fair/Unfair it doesnt matter. its organised who wants to go???? if you dont then please stay out of it! There will be other multi-regional events and maybe next it will be closer to us.

Yup, Aberdeen for example.

Anyway wez, you should be glad. You get to spend more time in the zed. ;)

thats a nice touch

Are we not allowed to voice out opinions on these meetings. If you would have said at the begining of the thread that the next meeting would be closer to the NW as Steve-300ZX did, I would have seen the logic in the Jedburgh meet.

Chill out guys. I think Pete is just pissed off that we go to the trouble of organising these events, hardly anyone turns up and then people start to criticise.

The reason for it being in Jedburgh is that it was initially a Scotland/NE meet. Pete, Steve and myself then thought it would be good if you guys could make it too.

At the end of the day, its not as if its a weekly meet. Whats wrong with taking one day out to go cruising in a convoy of zeds and meet a load of fellow owners etc etc. It will be good.
