kirbz Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I posted a few days ago saing how great my wife is as she wants me to get anothe zed when funds allow next year so about june/july time when its yearly bonus time :) I have a nice skyline with near 600bhp (once remapped) and only 28000 miles, not the best colour but it drive perfect, few niggles but over all a zed wouldnt come near it for speed and handling So i gets an email before from the guy i sold my "baby" to last year asking me if i want to buy her back from him?? he did tell me he was stripping her down to make 1 mega car out of 2 zeds he has but he never got round to it so the car is as i sold it. So what do i do??? if i bought it it would need to be funded by the sale of the skyline but i would then have 6k ish to blow on the zed Do i leave the zed and keep my skyline and next year buy a cheaper zed Do i leave the zed and keep my skyline and spend loads more on the skyline and make it 7-800 bhp :) or do i sell the skyline buy my old zed blow the 6k on it and make it ala macca and then blow my bonus on it making it even faster :D In Lloyd Grosman's words "its over to you" Mike Quote
takemetothepub Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Better the devil you know. If your gonna get another Z, get your old one back if you were happy with it. Quote

Forget the zed, you know it will only blow up!!! ;) hey i put near 10k in that engine and lots of blood sweat and tears so i would even now be pi55ed if it blew up :) says everything abou trust/greddy internals - Keith Cowie was running a trust stroker kit in his R32 when he did his 9.3 sec 1/4 and was running....get this 3.5 bar of boost and his engine is just fine ;) Quote
Craig David Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 More than 400bhp is rather a lot for the road. But I'm always glad when people go for big power anyway! Quote
