rear brake pads /steering wheel centre

Does anyone have any tips on changing the rear brake pads ? Is there anything I need to know about the ABS, cause otherwise I'm just going to unbolt the old ones and screw on the new ones - is that ok ? Is it as simple as a fiesta ?

Also....... some bastard nicked the z centre logo on my steering wheel and now I have just a glob of glue where my nice logo was, anyone know where I can get another ? 1990 Jap Import.

as usual thanks for your help

Hi Zach,

The rear brake pads are a doddle to change. Just remove the spring clip and two bolts and you can pull the old ones out. Slowly push back the calipers and you're half way done. Don't forget to put some copper grease on the shims before putting the new pads in.

As for the Zed badge, mine was missing too and I found it easiest to get one from a breakers(very easy to lift one off an old steering wheel).

Hope this helps!

Chears,

Danny
