Gizmo identification please guys!

In the picture below there is a black plastic box on the o/s wing just in front of the bulkhead. It has 1 pipe going to the plenum ballance bar! & a couple of wires from the grey connector.

Looked through the cd to no avail.

Could this be the cars boost sensor that sends a signal to the boost guage, or not!

I need to find the boost sensor to wire my new ELECTRICAL! boost guage too biggrin.gif

If its not, somebody tell me where to look.

Then can you tell me the colour of the wire to cut & connect to run the new gauge. smile.gif

As im runnin' short on fuses now LOL.

Thanks.......Harve.

Harve,

if your guage is electronic, shouldn't you have had a sensor with it? or is it one specifically designed for the Z's sensor? otherwise I would have thought you'd get invalid readings.. (since most sensors are going to be calibrated on different 'scales')

Harve mate where u get those yellow arrows, don`t seem to have any under my bonnet.Lol biggrin.gif Jeff TT

Just got guage!

1 poss, 1 neg, 1 bulb, 1 feed. !!!

Do i need a sender to suit then ?

What make/model guage is it Harve?

I would have thought it'd need a matched sender (for example, my SPA digital guage comes with it's own sender)..

BTW - the box you pointed out is the stock sender...
