Solution:

Windows paint program, load piccie you want to resize, then choose IMAGE, STRETCH/SKEW, HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL reduce by about 50%,

and now everyone can admire your pics when you upload them here.

Or install this little gizmo and then right click on the pictures, click resize and click the size you want, click ok and you're done and done! You may find this provides higher quality results and also takes milliseconds rather tha 5 seconds :D
