Finally got them sorted. They are Volk Racing AV3s and I have them in 18inch. Here are a few pics:

Let me tell you those wheels are bar none the best ive seen the build quality is so much better than anythign ive seen, and they are sooo yummy to look at.

 

But i have to confess id rather have the metro parked next to it,...

I love the Blitz wheels but I have to say the Volk wheels are my first choice next to the Yoko Ono Super Ardvarks which are also the Rotties gonads.

 

I hate it when stuff like this is so hard to get hold of...really gets me goat up!

 

Like that guy I met at Billing with the Prelude who had to take a weekend trip over the pond to Yank Land to get some Neepers!

 

Have since seen his car round Luton and it don't 'alf look the biz with them wheels on.

Soon as I've got some spare green just lounging around I'm gonna be there!

 

Shame that someone in the UK hasn't picked up the Volk business. I'm sure these wheels would sell well as like I said they were my first choice but when I found out how hard to get hold of I started looking at the Blitz instead!

 

As per usual there are guys who do sell these wheels but they are about double the cost involved so its a no go.

the wheels are Japanese but I got them from a company in the US. If you are interested in getting some (or any other wheels), drop me an email. As Warren said, you can get them from companies here in the UK but they are (literally) twice as much.

 

BTW, the company I got them from will do a good group buy discount if 3 of us order wheels at one time (any wheels, the 3 dont have to be the same type).

Volk Racing are just about my favourite wheel ever for the Z. But do they fit the Metro in the background??

I have been pulled over by the police 4 times in that car and only once in the 300 so wah.

 

And you guys are all very individual lol, I somehow dont think andrew would really want to do a group buy on wheels he has and so when we go to the next meet we have 6 zeds all on the same wheels

I wouldn't go for them without seeing the rest of the range. They are nice but Volk do an entire range of lush wheels.

 

Police keep pulling you in the Metro mate coz they are probably amazed that there are any still running! LOL

Well, you've got to add VAT which is the biggest hit. Duty is only 4% but there are a handfull of other little charges. BUT, normally this company will undervalue the wheels so you dont get stung so badly but I was the first shipment to the UK since September 11th so my shipment was going under a microscope. Might not be so bad for others nowthat mine has gone through.
