can i run AV-gas on my std Z? has any one else done it and noticed a difference in performance? its almost as cheap as optimax now.

im not sure if it still has real read in it, and may poison the O2 sensors and the cat.

need to find out before i get some today

I hear it burns very hot which may cause problems. Perhaps try with 25%, then 50% etc ....

Avgas used to have loads of lead in it, so that's not good for the O2 sensors :(

But as for burning hot, errrrr not sure. I know 2 strokes used it quite a bit and they dont like running hot at all

I have used it in old motocross 4 stroke bikes as a lead replacement. hard to get hold of but went like shite off a shovel.

PeterR told me a story about this and some guy thought he would cheat on a rolling road shoot out,he stuck it in his GTIR and it ran like a sack of shit and produced the least BHP :rofl:
