I'm trying to get hold of it, if anyone has it and could do me a copy I would be very greatful. Extensive torrent searching and p2p searching has proved fruitless :( I just fancy a bit of good old hardcore shooting!

I remember upgrading to 56k after about a year of using 28.8 and thinking, "My god this is lightening fast" :rofl:

 

Just think tho, we pretty much all have 512k +, most on 1MB plus, in our homes now, when 1GB home broadband comes out in 10 years we will be remenising (sp) about the good old days when it took over 20 seconds to download an mp3 and getting all nostalgic over our ancient 10MB cable modms!!

I actually ran on a 28.8 until just a couple of years ago, then I got so freaking tired of max 1.2kb/sec download that I ordered DSL :) I got a 56kb/sec down then, and if I now days download with only 56Kb/sec I almost cancel it and find a new location to download it from as it feels so slow, hehe :)

Unless it's p2p off one of my mates (i.e. msn etc.) then anything under 100k/s is unacceptable and gets downloaded from a mirror or another source! Was on my grandad's pc the other day using a 56k modem.......................it..................................was...............................so.............................painful....................................i...........................nearly..............................cried!
