Didn't know he was still performing, saw him with Rainbow years ago - he was amazing then.

theres alot of these 80's metal bands getting back touring....its just instead of playing major venues they play in small venues......going to see motorhead in ipswich on the 31st.....now thats gonna be LOUD!!!

Saw Motorhead in the Barrows Glasgow couple a years ago, Lemmi's brother played the drums like animal off the muppets non stop all night then at the end jumped over the kit .. Was an Amazing night couldn't hear for two days after ROCK AND ROLL :)

Have you watched rock school on a friday night - the emporer - pmsl - kid with attitude - theyre gonna be supporting motorhead - "Rock School" hosted by Gene Simmons (Kiss).

Seen Motorhead a few times, plus most of the big bands - am probably a little deaf these days !! eg Deep Purple - ouch !

Yeah only problem with full on metal in a venue not much bigger than yer average front room is that it deafens you. Went out with my Bro and his mate in Wrexham a while back and spent the night listening to some band called Planet of Women...couldn't here for days after!

 

Although saying that the lead singer was a dyke looking muscle bound biatch but the two backing singers...fookin' gorgeous!!! :D

I was in Loco Studios in Usk many years ago and he held the door open for me.

I'm no giant but he's only about 5 foot tall! Great rock voice though

on his biography it says he was born in 1942,which makes him 63!!!......but he says he was born in 1949......and he is a little bloke.....so ive heard!!!

Dio, It's been a long time since I listened to them. I had a Live EP of theirs somewhere.

His vocals are certainly destinctive. Not sure I'd want to listen to them now though.
