can anyone tell me the stats of 300zx (i think its the z31 flush lights not pop up), bhp, 0-60, 0-100, etc.

 

this might be a silly question but is there a non-turbo version as well.

Z31 - 1984-1989

 

There was a Single turbo version and a non-turbo

 

Think there may have been 2 versions of the engine, old(12valve) newer(24valve)

 

24 Valve

Turbo - 255bhp

N/A - 190bhp

 

12 Valve

Turbo - 225bhp

N/A - 170bhp

ah yes, I did'nt read that correcly. Guess we have some confusion on which you mean.

Z32 : 1989 - 2000 (covered by this club)

 

Both cars are VERY different to one-another.

0-100 : 18.6 secs

Top speed : 140 mph (restricted to 112mph)

 

Twin Turbo (Euro and Jap)

280 bhp - 300bhp

283 Ib/ft

0-60 : 5.5 secs

0-100 : 14.5 secs

1/4 Mile : 13.8 - 14.2 secs

Top speed : 170 mph + (Uk restricted to 155mph and Jap to 112mph)

 

Although, Car and Driver in 1992 got the following figures from a SWB TT :

0-60 mph: 5.0 sec.

0-100: 13.1 sec.

Quarter Mile Time: 13.7 sec.

i take it the non turbo's are hard to find. what price am i looking at for a decent example

ya pays for what ya get - wish I'd bought one from a member of this club - I paid about £4k for mine and in the last year and half spent another £8-9K fixing and modding it up.
