My honest opinion

Sounds very very nice infact one of the nicest sounding cars I have heard for some time. The brakes were very good the 6 speed gearbox was so smooth and a pleasure to use. I was not too keen on the interior and the performance was poor but ok for a N/A I suppose.

Just trying as a friend of mine is in sales at Nissan and has asked me to try one for some time now.

Its the fastest thing iv ever driven (not bad for 18), handles like its on rails but for a 3.5V6 i was expecting a bit more straight line speed tbh.

No Vin and this is my honest reason why..................................

I could never have another performance car that had less power than the 300 as I would always compare them.

That is why I chose a 4x4 as my every day car as it is totally different.

You need to rev the spuds off them as they're a bit gutless in the midrange (in comparision with a TT), but aside from that they're pretty good. It's always nice to drive a new car I guess.

It should be if I can find a good box;)

so i take it you've not measured the bell housing to see if it is the same as the supra or skyline box yet, or are you thinking of going for a 6spd sequential.

All in hand Guv,I have a nice man in Holland looking into this.

Only problem is that 350z's are just renaults in disguise. Engine gearbox and electrics all renault not nissan.

The engine and box are the same as the Velsatis, but were designed by Nissan, it just happened that the Renault was on the market first.

Our project car for the new business is a blue 350Z and I have to say(even though I will probably regret it) I would have a 350 over a 300 any day!!!

OK OK STOP SHOUTING AT ME!!! LOL

Its a much easier car for day to day driving imho, sedate around town with a bit of go when you need it and far superior handling.

We were at the D1 drifting at Silverstone on Sunday where we had a look at Somo's 350 with the single turbo conversion. Andy was saying it was the most powerful car there on the day, which shows what can be done with them. personally I would go for the supercharger though.

Let the stoning begin..........

On a serious note I was disappointed with the handling, I really did cane it through some twistys and it felt like a wild pig with pins and needles in its legs LOL. Honest mate I can get round bends much faster in mine.

My opinion of the 350Z, I drove one a while back, in my 2+2 days LOL!

Exterior........... Nice, looks neat!

Interior........... cheap, plastic tat!!

Engine............ needs to be revved, but smooth and responcive!

Handling......... Bit soggy, but more than compidant!

Sound............ but not a nice as my SWB :D

All round......... Better than all the euro crap that ive driven and worth the cash (well if the interior was better made)

Do you mean Sumo?? was it bright pink? with carbon dors, wings, 1/4's bonnet etc etc?

If it is i went down to where these guys work to pick up a load of 350z bits they took off lol. But at that time they had a supercharger fitted to it. I think it was the HKS one, deffinately not the stillen one.

Yeah I meant Sumo, (makes note, hire secretary) they have just fitted the turbo conversion so the charger is up for sale.

Unfortunately the car went home minus several pieces of bodywork, due to a small diversion through the gravel trap. If he had'nt done that I reckon they could have gone on to the final.

HEHE lol.... interesting.... Was it a Jap guy driving it? Or was it Rob?

I think my next car is going to be a nice wide 350Z in blue so I'll be very interested in seeing what you do with it! :duffer:
